Description:
This project originated from the preference of the Jugendstil art movement, the art movement that arose at the beginning of the 19th century. Beautiful rights are formed by industrial applications in something more difficult forms, this did not happen by chance, but by fateful thinking about what the future would bring. The Jugendstil designers did this to protect themselves against the too difficult and profound systems, but also to warn others about the future. Something like "people don't make it so difficult for the world". In principle they were right, because during that period two world wars broke out, all in the world of neoclassicism, this made me wonder that the Hitlerjugend may have arisen from Jugendstil and neoclassicism, and that the neo-Nazi hook arose from that etc. For me very confusing and know that the hook is a dogmatizing thing, neo-Nazis is a regime and a regime is bad, which is bad must sit. That is why I came up with the idea to make the zig zag chair, this chair is the end of corruptions of Jugendstil, because Jugendstil is Jugendstil and falls under the heading of art/design. And in this case an object to sit on. The zig zag chair should not be confused with that of Gerrit Rietveld (1888-1964), but I would like to pay tribute to him here, as it is also such a Jugendstiller.
